Q # 26 - 30 Days of Insight

There are two ways to solve just about any problem you might encounter.

  1.  Throw money at it.
  2.  Use your creativity.

Money is a valuable resource and if you have plenty of it, you can hire experts to solve many of the problems you might encounter in life.

Or, you can ramp up your creativity and find a solution, which usually costs a lot less or might even be free.

Right now, it’s common to be worried about money, the future, or your job.  You might also have some pressing problems or challenges to solve.

Guess what?  YOU are more powerful than you might realize.

That’s because you have a wealth of creativity within you.  You might just need to tune it up and bring it to the surface.

One of the easiest ways to do this is through a steady diet of PLAY TIME.

Remember PLAYING?  Coloring books, hula hooping, cooking, staring at clouds, riding your bike, gardening, reading fiction in a hammock, art projects, blogging/creative writing, playing a musical instrument, singing, puzzles, wood working projects or doing anything that feels FUN.

When you play, you tend to relax which allows thoughts from your subconscious brain to bubble up to the surface.

Sitting at your desk and stressing out to solve a problem isn’t always the best way to find a solution, in other words.

Instead, try PLAYING and HAVING FUN.  Let go of trying to figure everything out.

Now is the IDEAL time to develop or strengthen a new hobby.  Get the supplies you need (it doesn't have to cost a lot) and put your hobby or fun activity in a location you'll see it so you will be more likely to do it!

Anything goes right now!  Hey, you don't have to worry about someone popping over and seeing your sprawling art project in the living room.  Do whatever you want right now and put your fun projects front and center.
